Look and Feel Your Best

Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxin A) Injection is an FDA-approved neurotoxin injection that has been on the market for cosmetic use since 2009. Dysport® consists of purified proteins to block signals from the nerves in the injection site to the muscles. Dysport® is interchangeable with other neurotoxins like Botox® and has very similar benefits and uses. The most common placement for Dysport® is the upper region of the face:
-
glabellar lines, also known as “elevens”
-
forehead lines
-
crow’s feet lines
Additional areas to consider for cosmetic and functional improvement are:
-
upper lip lines and a "lip flip" to enhance the visibility of the upper lip
-
gummy smile
-
vertical neck muscles (platysmal bands)
-
masseter muscle for relief of TMJ symptoms, headaches, jaw tension, and to improve a square jawline
-
bunny lines of the nose
-
underarms to improve excessive sweating
Before all Dysport® treatments, a medical aesthetic professional will conduct a free consultation. Dysport® treatments have minimal downtime and visible results can start appearing within 24 to 48 hours after the treatment. It may take up to 2 weeks for the full effect of the treatment to set in. Typically, Dysport® treatments will last for 3 to 6 months before it is recommended that the treatment should be repeated, but Dr. Vicky and Medspa Divine staff will work to create a customized treatment plan just for you.
